As part of the National Disability Insurance Agency’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, NDIS participants and providers can now connect with matching platforms through the NDIS website – to quickly and easily find the support and workers they need.
It’s essentially a directory of platforms you can use to connect to NDIS supports that you may need, which is especially important if your supports have been disrupted during this time of restriction.
It’s also worth considering if you foresee the need for backup coverage or are concerned you may need it you can register even if you don’t immediately need a support worker(s).
Now is as good a time as any to remind you that if you’re plan managed with NDSP, you also have access to providers that are NOT NDIS registered – an important distinction depending on the availability and breadth of supports in your area.
