Meet Jane Farrelly

Meet Jane Farrelly

March 12, 2021

We’re thrilled to introduce you to the newest member of our Tasmanian team, Jane Farrelly!

Our Business Relationship Manager for Tasmania Emilie, sat down for a chat to find out more about Jane and what she loves about the NDIS.

You are the only Farrelly I’ve ever met. What is a Farrelly family trait?

The Farrelly name comes from county Monaghan in Ireland! Being part Irish, one of our family traits is to celebrate St Patrick’s day every year with gusto!! lol!

You have a fantastical genius on all things NDIS. How did this happen – are you a wizard?

I like to think of myself as a wizard sometimes! lol! Jokes! My NDIS knowledge has come from being deeply entrenched in all things Plan Management for the past 3 years, and I am looking forward to continuing to learn

What is your favourite line item in the Price Guide and why?

My favourite line item… hmmmm… with so many to choose from, this is almost an impossible question!  To be honest, I have 4 favourite types! Is that Plan Management nerdy of me! lol!  Here they are:

01 codes:  : when I see these codes I am happy to see participants are receiving these supports they need with daily activities.

04 codes: when I see these codes I am happy to see that participants are receiving supports with accessing the community.

Any Low Level AT code: when I see these codes, I am happy to see participants are receiving the technology supports they need.

Any Capacity Building code: when I see these codes, I am happy to see participants are receiving supports from their health professionals.

Vegemite: love or hate?

Love it!! But only a scrape, I do not understand anyone who can eat a thick layer of vegemite!

What is a challenge you have had to overcome?

When I was 32 I had to undergo treatment for Breast Cancer. Thankfully that was nearly 20 years ago now, and I am very grateful that the treatment was successful!

Jane and Emilie will be hosting two workshops on the 29th and 31st of March to help you get the most out of your NDIS Plan and a coffee meet and greet on the 30th of March. If you’d like to attend you can register for your local session here
