Supporting flood devastated communities in Queensland and New South Wales

April 19, 2022

At the request of the two families that founded NDSP Plan Managers (one family resides in QLD and the other has children in flood affected NSW), we recently reached out to all our clients in the most flood affected regions. We asked if we could help in our capacity as a Plan Manager and also if they had suggestions as to which local community support organisations we could donate funds to that would, in some small way, aid the recovery of these communities.

The first email was sent out on 29 March 2022 (email subject: Financial Support for Communities Affected by Recent Floodings). We thank everyone who has responded to our survey and we have reviewed all their suggestions.

From this list, we have selected six charity organisations who can benefit from our donations. Last week, NDSP has completed the process and the beneficiaries of our donations are:

Received $2,000 each:

Received $1,000 each:

We especially thank our clients (Janet, Julieanne, Sam, Sara, and Leonie) for these suggestions.

Our team has reached out to each organisation and they have all acknowledged the benefits of these donations to help fund the various recovery and rehabilitation programs happening in their local communities.

We are very aware that the impacts of the floods will last months and years. We encourage our clients to email or phone us if they need help relating to their NDIS plan or any connections we can make for them in the disability sector. Please call us at 1800 63 63 77 or email info@ndsp.com.au and one of our team members will be ready to assist.

At NDSP Plan Managers, the first of our core values is being compassionate and we hope this gesture of support and concern goes some way to help the flood recovery.
