Forsight is a for-purpose organisation.

We have a 40-year history of providing Supported Accommodation to clients within the Greater Sydney Region.

Forsight was founded by Parents and teachers of children who were visually/hearing impaired.

Our principal service is Supported Independent Living (SIL). We currently have 17 shared homes for people with sensory impairments around Sydney and more coming soon. Each of our homes cater for 4-5 people aged between 18-65 years old.

We have adapted the work of Dr Robert Shalock and applied independence, inclusion, and well-being as a standard of care and support.

Our Active Support model is a way for people with disability to engage in meaningful everyday activities of their choice, with the amount of support they need. It is about doing “with” rather than doing “for” the person.  They provide just enough assistance of the right kind, to enable a person to succeed in doing all, or part of a task.

As a registered NDIS provider, we also provide Short Term Accommodation, Support Coordination and Allied Health Services including Positive Behaviour Support.
