This year’s edition of the day celebrates the, Leadership and participation of persons with disabilities toward an inclusive, accessible and sustainable post-COVID-19 world
You’ll be able to catch the NDSP Plan Managers team at events all across the country celebrating the day at the below events.
Northern Territory: Carnival of Fun
Where: Netball NT, 235 Abala Rd, Marrara NT
When: Friday 3rd December, 11am – 2pm
The Carnival of Fun is a family friendly day with activities for kids and big kids at heart of all abilities! There will be ball games, a sensory room, colouring in activities and smoothie bikes with, a special visit from Pegasus the Therapy Pony.
You’ll also be able to check out the amazing pieces on show for the Access Art Exhibition while, enjoying fairy floss, a sausage sizzle and ice cream.

Queensland: NDSP Bursary Program Announcement
New South Wales: Shoalhaven Disability Expo
Where: Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre, 90 Cambewarra Rd, Bomaderry
When: Friday 3rd December, 10am-2pm
This year’s rendition of the Shoalhaven Disability Expo has the theme, ‘I feel included when…’ with a focus on how Shoalhaven can be made more inclusive for everyone. It will have a focus on how to make Shoalhaven more inclusive for everyone from public spaces to employment and everything in between.
There will be free entertainment, a range of inclusive activities, NDIS information and service providers from across the Shoalhaven area. There will also be travel assistance with buses from selected locations in Ulladulla, Bay and Basin area and around Nowra and East Nowra.

Western Australia: Geraldton International Day of People with Disability Celebration
Where: QEII Seniors and Community Centre
When: Friday 3rd December, 4pm-late
This year the City of Greater Geraldton will be hosting a day full of fun activities at the QEII Seniors and Community Centre from 4pm until later into the evening.
There will be a range of activities for people of all ages and abilities with, music, Zumba, Goalball, free sausage sizzle and face painting and other fun activities.

South Australia: Para Hills High School
Where: Para Hills High School
When: Friday 3rd December, 11am-3pm
Para Hills High School have organised a day to celebrate all of their transition students, celebrating the achievements of all 57 students who are part of their disability unit.
There will be a number of activities for people of all abilities including; a colour blast fun run, inclusive soccer, movies, BBQ, market stalls, wheelchair sports and a science show.
