To help you find the assistance you need with your NDIS Plan, we’ve put together a national directory of Support Coordinators.
NDIS FAQs
A NDIS support coordinator plays a crucial role in helping NDIS participants implement their NDIS plan in the most efficient and convenient way possible. They work with participants to ensure they have access to a wide range of support services that will help them achieve their plan goals.
A NDIS support coordinator is funded through the capacity-building budget of your plan. If you don’t know if you have this included in your plan, your Local Area Coordinator (LAC) or plan manager can provide guidance on how you can use your plan.
A NDIS support coordinator will help you understand and implement funded supports in your NDIS plan. Here’s how they can help you:
- They can link you to reasonable and necessary support providers who can help you achieve your plan goals.
- Assist you in accessing local community programs.
- Assist you in preparing for your NDIS plan review.
You have the flexibility to choose either a registered or unregistered support coordinator, depending on whether your plan is agency managed, self-managed or plan managed. Participants can search for registered support coordination providers using our NDIS support coordinator finder tool or a similar platforms such as Clickability or the NDIS’ Support Coordinator Finder.
